Hennepin County is working on a proposal to redevelop the 6.4 acre property at 2225 East Lake Street, currently owned by Minneapolis Public Schools, and the seasonal location of the Midtown Farmers Market. You are invited to learn more about the plan and express questions, suggestions, and concerns at a public hearing on April 3, 6:00pm at the Adult Basic Education Center (2225 East Lake Street).
Your input could help shape the plan, which includes retail offerings, sustainability and urban agriculture, bike/walk connections, plaza design, and more. Based on public input,  Corcoran Neighborhood Organization’s Board will take on official position on the plan.
Childcare, translation for Spanish speakers, and light refreshments will be provided at the meeting.Invite your neighbors and friends to also attend by inviting them on facebook.
