Global Chili Cook-Off
Saturday, November 7 Noon – 2 p.m.
The Global Chili Cook-Off will take place on Saturday, November 7 from Noon until 2 p.m. Guests will sample 12 different chili recipes made by vendors around Midtown Global Market and have the chance to vote for their favorite. A $5 donation is requested with all proceeds going to Doing Good Together.
Diwali Hindu New Year Celebration
Friday, November 13 5:30 – 7:30 p.m.
Bring the whole family to Midtown Global Market to celebrate Diwali – The Hindu Festival of Lights. There will be Bollywood dancers, food samples, henna, live music, kids activities and much more!
Do It Green! Minnesota Green Gifts Fair
Saturday, November 21 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
The Do It Green! Minnesota Green Gifts Fair will be held Saturday, November 21 from10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Over 80 local artists and retailers will be selling green gifts including bamboo silverware sets, jewelry, clothing, pottery, greeting cards and more! A $1 donation is requested at the door and the first 100 attendees will receive a free Chinook Book and 12-month mobile app subscription card. You wont want to miss it!

Looking for health insurance and having a hard time navigating the website? The BYI Resource Center has representatives from Portico, a non-profit organization that helps folks find the best fit. They are at the Resource Center every Wednesday, from1-4 p.m. to help you find health insurance coverage to fit your needs and budget. Call for an appointment at 612-353-6211.
